A 53-year-old man, Bravok Indi, yesterday at Jenta Mangoro in Jos, wounded and killed his 75-year-old mother, Wallong Indi, for encouraging him to backtrack his terrible ways.
A family source, who pined for secrecy, told the News Office of Nigeria (NAN), that Bravok, a previous cleaner in a bank and father of four, had purportedly been on medications, a circumstance the source asserted prompted a partition with his wife a few years back.
He was likewise said to have been attached to undermining neighbors with "unsafe" protests, and had been not able to meet his obligations as a father to the four youngsters.
Stressed by the circumstance, the mother, on Oct. 15, went into his space to encourage him to toss medications and start another life.
The mother's direction was said to have maddened Bravok, who in an attack of indignation, cut her to death.
NAN learnt that young people of the territory, on learning of the assault, dropped on Bravok and beat him to daze before he was saved by the police, who hurried him to the Level Authority doctor's facility.
Mr Emmanuel Abuh, representative of the Level Police Summon, affirmed the report.
Abuh clarified that Bravok was first taken to the police central command before he was moved to the healing facility.
