Just This Yesterday, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library was officailly opened with more than 42 million books,documents,journals and archival materials like the school uniforms ,military, uniforms, shoes ,cars and other personal belongings of the former president,Olusegun Obasanjo.
Speaking at the occasion was the Chairperson of ECOWAS, Ellen-Johnson Sirleaf. Other big names in the political world were the likes of Governor Akinwuunmi Ambode,Sen. Ibikunle Amosun, Prof. Lai Mohammed, Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, Gov. Rochas Okorocha amongst other former African presidents,ministers, senators, diplomats,traditional rulers academia, Industrial heads.
The library is however the first Presidential Library in Africa.
