Fire outbreak destroys properties worth millions of naira in Akure market.

Properties worth a huge number of Naira were, on Thursday evening, demolished in Akure, the Ondo State capital, at the prevalent Odopetu Market

It was accumulated that no life was lost in the occurrence however many shops inside the market were wrecked in the inferno.

Most shops influenced by the fire episode, were supplied with foodstuffs and above all else the shops were totally leveled around flame with foodstuffs inside the shops.

As per one of the dealers at the market who clarified that the fire may have been brought on by power surge while another source said there was no power supply to the range when the fire began.
