The Abia Police Charge has affirmed the capture of a lady, who purportedly sold her three-year-old grandson to a ritualist. The Charge's representative, DSP Udeviotu Onyeke told newsmen that the lady was in the care of the police as examination proceeds.
He said that a portion of the examination being did was to decide the rational soundness of the lady. The lady, who hailed from Onitsha Ngwa in Obingwa LGA of Abia State, had left the town with the kid and gave back a week later to report that he was absent.
When she was addressed about the missing kid, her reaction activated suspicion.
The villagers needed to call police. The lady purportedly told the police that she sold the kid for N100,000 to a local specialist in Akwa Ibom and needed to utilize the cash to purchase a bike for December.
The police representative, on the other hand, said that the lady had subsequent to transformed her announcement, asserting that the kid was with her sister in Aba. Onyeke guaranteed that the police would completely examine the matter to disentangle the whereabout of the three-year-old kid and indict every one of those included in the adventure.
