Quickly I would like to inform you that you are qualified for both University and polytechnic Admission.
By now you should be planning ahead for your post utme examination.
Before your Post utme Exam there are Few things I would like to share with you, kindly read carefully and pay attention to details.
1). Competition. The competition in Nigeria universities is very high and candidate with higher score in jamb and post utme will be consider first.
If you score 180 or above in jamb, you will need to work harder to ensure your performance in post utme exam is very high.
2) Schools that will not Accept below 200 despite the fact that the jamb minimum admission requirement into Nigeria university is 180, there are some universities that will demand for 200 and if you choose any of this universities, you will not be allowed to register for post utme exam.
The list of the universities that accept only 200 and above are
1) UI
2) Uniben
3) Unilag
4). Lautech
5) Funaab
6) OAU
7) Futa
If you select any of the above school and score below 200 in jamb , you are Advised to change your school of choice immediately.
You can obtain the Jamb change of course/ institution form.
(3) Beware of Top Rated Courses the top rated courses varies from one institution to the other and your academic performance should decide either to move on or go back.
Some courses like : medicine, law, Accounting, masscomm, economic, pharmacy and engineering are very competitive and you need to be at your best.
If you don't have what it takes to fight the above course, it will be better and more beneficial for you to change your course but if you have what it takes, you can Move on.
Part time/ weekend / evening programme both university and polytechnic offer part time programme and admission into part time programme is much more easier compare to full time Admission.
Once you obtain a part time form, you have 90% assurance that you will be offered admission.
Moreso, part time programme gives you the flexibility to work and study.
6) Ijmb IJMB is an Advanced A level exam for Admission into 200 level in Nigeria universities.
Candidates that enrol for ijmb do not need to register for jamb.
The duration of the ijmb programme is 9 month and successful candidates will secure admission into 200 level.
